Emily Whitehead Foundation:

At age five, Emily Whitehead developed an aggressive form of leukemia. When mainstream treatments failed, a revolutionary cancer treatment called CAR-T cell therapy saved her life. Emily was the first child in the world to have her immune cells trained to fight cancer. On May 10, 2022, Emily celebrated a milestone 10 years cancer free! The Emily Whitehead Foundation raises funds to advance this groundbreaking immunotherapy so other children fighting cancer can receive the same treatment.

CAR T-cell immunotherapy is a less toxic approach to treating cancer compared to chemotherapy and radiation, with fewer long-term side effects for children being treated. To date, the Emily Whitehead Foundation has contributed over $825,000 toward advancements in CAR T-cell therapy research. Your involvement with this event will support the Emily Whitehead Foundation’s mission to help children fighting cancer receive CAR-T cell therapy, connect families with a supportive community, and spread awareness of this innovative treatment.

Together, we will activate the cure for all children fighting cancer.

We are incredibly grateful for your support!
