October 21, 2022 @ 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Come join us for a virtual event with Dr. Laundette Jones and learn about Biosocial research. Which is concerned with the dynamic interplays between biology, experiences, and behaviors over the life course. Encompassing multidisciplinary science, biosocial research has a history of diverse definitions and brings together expertise from the biological, medical, and social sciences. It enhances the depth and breadth of insights drawn from research, thereby improving the positive impacts of research on policy and society.
Dr. Jones is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and serves in several leadership roles, including being the Co-Director of the Program in Health Equity and Population Health and Associate Director of the STAR-PREP (Postbaccalaureate Research and Education Program).
