Miltenyi Biotec promotes Markus Weiss to
Executive Vice President
Mr. Weiss will also continue to serve as
Chief Financial Officer North America,
a role he has held since 2020
Markus Weiss, who in this role is responsible for supporting the North American Business Units and Divisions has 18 years of experience in operationalizing strategy, preserving and growing value, scaling culture as well as business transformations. He is experienced in divisional, regional and country level leadership roles in technology, life science, manufacturing, construction and financial services.
Over the past two years Mr. Weiss had an opportunity of hiring over 100 team members due to the transition of Miltenyi Biotec’s North American Headquarter to Gaithersburg and the establishing of a state-of-the-art GMP Warehouse and Distribution facility that is going to support Miltenyi Biotec’s North American Divisions, including the Gaithersburg and San Jose based CDMOs.
