Our Story
Founded in 2009, BioBuzz started as a grassroots effort to bring life sciences professionals together in the BioHealth Capital Region (Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C.). What began as small networking events has evolved into a multi-regional media and events platform serving the life sciences ecosystem nationwide.
From our roots as an informal networking meetup during the recession to a leading community-building platform, BioBuzz has remained laser-focused on one goal: building a more connected life sciences workforce. Today, we are a trusted source of regional news, career resources, and industry events across multiple innovation hubs.
