BioBuzz.io launches as a digital platform, expanding from events into life sciences news coverage and community content.
2014
Introduction of signature programs including workforce development initiatives, connecting students and professionals with career opportunities.

BioHealth Capital Region branding takes shape, unifying the Maryland-Virginia-DC life sciences corridor under a shared identity.
2019
Launch of Workforce Genetics, BioBuzz’s parent company, broadening the mission to workforce innovation in the life sciences.
2021
Digital transformation accelerates with virtual events, expanded editorial coverage, and new partnership models.
2022
Expansion into the Greater Philadelphia life sciences ecosystem, establishing BioBuzz’s second regional hub.
2023
Research Triangle (Raleigh-Durham, NC) becomes BioBuzz’s third regional hub, extending the platform’s national footprint.

Crowdfunded a Beta pilot of our life sciences talent marketplace with 104 investors participating over 3,000 users in the first 90 days that also showed immediate employer demand.

Launch of next-generation AI-powered digital career and hiring platform with over 1,000 employers and 14,000 jobs posted weekly. With nearly $500,000 in State grant awards, BioBuzz launched two major workforce initiatives. 1) An early career workforce engagement program, and 2) an AI-GMP training accelerator to up-skill the incumbent biotech workforce to apply AI into regulated environments.
