Industry Day – Spectral Flow Cytometry 

Becton Dickinson Biosciences is holding a THNK Spectral Education Day. It will be held at BioTrac (Bioscience Education Center) in Germantown Maryland. 

The THNK Spectral Education Series will help you understand the differences between spectral and conventional flow cytometry along with basics of multicolor panel design with emphasis on the new BD dyes that are designed to alleviate basic challenges in panel design as compared to other commercially available dyes. Attendees will gain knowledge to better design high parameter panels and an understanding of how to overcome obstacles for high-quality spectral data. The day will close with a talk about bioinformatics and how to do high-dimensional analysis of data using FlowJo.

The event will feature talks from Dr. Katherine McKinnon from the NIH, Matthew Creegan, M.S. from the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and talks from Katie Tuttle, Ph.D. and Veronica Obregon-Perko, Ph.D., from BD Biosciences.
