How did you get here?

My journey to becoming a Full Stack Developer Intern at BioBuzz began with a passion for technology and problem-solving. From an early age, I was fascinated by how systems work and how coding could transform ideas into real-world applications. This interest led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Computer Science, where I delved deeper into programming, web development, and software engineering.

During my academic journey, I honed my skills in various programming languages and frameworks, and this solid foundation pushed me to seek real-world experience in the tech industry. When the opportunity to join BioBuzz presented itself, I saw it as the perfect platform to apply my knowledge and grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The company’s focus on innovation and development aligned with my aspirations, motivating me to become part of their dynamic team.

What is currently blowing your mind right now?

What’s exciting me right now is working with the MERN stack—the powerful combination of MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. These tools allow for building highly scalable and dynamic applications, which I find incredibly rewarding. Additionally, I’m delving deeper into GraphQL for more efficient API querying, and TypeScript is becoming a must-have for improving my code’s structure and safety. I’m also exploring platforms like WordPress, Softr, and Airtable, which offer unique no-code and low-code solutions, enabling faster deployment of functional applications with minimal development time.

Here’s a closer look at what I’m focused on:

  • MERN Stack: The seamless combination of MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js continues to amaze me with its scalability and performance in full-stack projects.
  • GraphQL: The flexibility of GraphQL APIs, especially how they optimize data fetching, is something I’m deeply engaged with.
  • TypeScript: I’m increasingly relying on TypeScript to add structure and robustness to my JavaScript code, making it easier to maintain and scale.
  • APIs: Working on both RESTful and GraphQL APIs has given me a broader perspective on efficient data management and interaction between front-end and back-end systems.
  • No-code/Low-code platforms: Tools like WordPress, Softr, and Airtable are revealing new possibilities for creating fast, functional applications without deep coding, making development more accessible.

If you could explain yourself right now in only emojis, what would those be?

I’m fully immersed in development work, constantly coding, learning, and refining my skills. Creativity and passion drive me to explore new tools and technologies like GraphQL and TypeScript, always aiming to improve workflow and deliver quality work. As a continuous learner, I stay ahead in the fast-moving tech industry, focused on achieving my goals.

If you could travel into the future… what does your LinkedIn Headline say?

If I could travel into the future, my LinkedIn headline would read:

“Full Stack Developer | Innovating at the Intersection of Technology and Life Sciences | Driving Digital Transformation with MERN, APIs, and Cloud Solutions”

In the immediate future, I aspire to deepen my expertise in full-stack development, particularly with the MERN stack, GraphQL, and cloud technologies like Google Cloud. My goal is to work on impactful projects that push the boundaries of tech in the life sciences industry, especially in areas like data integration, automation, and scalable web applications.

Long term, I aim to connect with leaders in biotech, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare tech—collaborating on projects that leverage cutting-edge technologies to solve real-world problems in the industry. Whether through APIs that streamline data processes or cloud solutions that scale critical applications, I’m committed to driving digital transformation in life sciences.
