Lea Yagli has relocated to Gaithersburg, Maryland, after six years in Ireland, continuing her role as Director, Operations IT – Digital Product Management at AstraZeneca. “I’m continuing my work in AI product management at AstraZeneca, working at the intersection of technology, operations, and the evolving ways AI can create value in a regulated industry,” Yagli said.

Yagli leads the development and global scaling of AI-driven digital products advancing generative AI, automation, and Industry 4.0 across AstraZeneca’s manufacturing and operations network, defining product roadmaps and guiding cross-functional teams to bring AI, machine learning, and agentic solutions from early concept to enterprise-wide adoption. She has held the role since December 2024, having previously served as Senior IT Business Partner in AstraZeneca’s Digital IT Strategy Team, based in Dublin.
Before joining AstraZeneca, Yagli spent nearly three years at Google Cloud, most recently as a Customer Engineer and AI Specialist consulting EMEA small and midsize business customers on cloud architecture, data analytics, and generative AI strategy. She began her time at Google as a Cloud Technical Resident in the program’s first EMEA-based cohort, rotating through technical support, technical account management, and customer engineering roles. Earlier in her career, she worked in consulting and PMO at GBTEC Software AG, in strategy and business development at Trust Africa Partners in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, and interned in process management at Daimler AG.
Yagli holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and Management from Hochschule Bochum – Bochum University of Applied Sciences. She is fluent in German, English, French, and Italian.
