Annie Woodard has joined the North Carolina Biotechnology Center (NCBiotech) as Program Manager, Workforce Solutions, on the organization’s Life Sciences Economic Development team, where she supports workforce development initiatives connecting job seekers, training providers, community colleges, and employers across North Carolina’s life sciences ecosystem.
About Annie Woodard
Woodard brings a background in talent acquisition and workforce development within the research and life sciences sectors to the role. In her new position, she leads coordination and execution of workforce development programs, events, and employer engagement initiatives, builds partnerships supporting talent development and career pathways, and manages program operations, data, budgets, and reporting.
Woodard joins NCBiotech from Motive Labs, where she served as Senior Executive Assistant. Before that, she spent seven years at RTI International, most recently as Global Talent Acquisition Specialist and previously as Talent Acquisition Partner, providing recruiting and hiring consultation to the organization’s General and Administrative, Health Solutions, and Discovery Science Technology business units. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Client Delivery Specialist at Manpower, supporting client-dedicated staffing operations in the Raleigh-Durham area.
Woodard holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Cape Fear Community College.
