Facet Life Sciences has named Mike Davis, BS, MBA, as Vice President of Business Development, joining the company’s leadership team in October 2026. Davis brings more than 25 years of experience across the healthcare, CRO, and pharmaceutical industries, including more than two decades leading business development.
In his new role, Davis will build strategic partnerships that help clients advance their development programs. Facet said Davis brings a deep passion for advancing healthcare and bringing novel therapies to patients with unmet medical needs, combining a strong scientific foundation from his start as a microbiologist with proven commercial strategy.
About Mike Davis
Davis joins Facet from IQVIA, where he spent more than nine years as Senior Director, Strategic Business Development (R&D Solutions). Before IQVIA, he served as Director, Strategic Growth for Medical Vigilance Solutions at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, leading business development for its pharmacovigilance, medical communications, and 24/7 contact center services for pharmaceutical, biotech, specialty pharma, and consumer products companies. He also held business development leadership roles at Medpace, as Director, Strategic Accounts, and at PharmaNet/i3 Strategic Resourcing, as Vice President, Business Development.
Davis spent more than a decade at Kendle International, starting as a Proposal Analyst and Clinical Research Associate before rising through business development roles to Executive Director, Business Development, where he led a team focused on Phase 2–4 clinical development services. He began his career as a Senior Research Associate at Procter & Gamble.
Davis holds an MBA from Thomas More University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northern Kentucky University.
