Adam Van Bavel Joins Workforce Genetics & BioBuzz to Lead Marketing & Business Development
Workforce Genetics welcomes Adam Van Bavel as the new Head of Marketing and Business Development. Adam will be the head storyteller conveying the vision for both the Talent and BioBuzz divisions which offer services across several functional areas, including; publishing, events, marketing, employer branding, consulting, and recruiting.
Adam’s background includes creating award-winning marketing and brand awareness campaigns, building strategic partnerships with major global brands, and planning some of the country’s largest events.
“In my previous role, one of the aspects of my work I was most proud of was that the work I was a part of helped to shape the future of the homebuilding industry. The opportunity to positively impact society through supporting our client’s work and helping to grow the BioHealth Capital Region is tremendous” shared Van Bavel. “Our team has created the leading biohealth news outlet for the region, consistently provides event opportunities creating visible business value, and helps to find talent that helps our clients to succeed and solidifies our hub as one of the best in the country. The experience we provide our readers, attendees, and partners is unparalleled. Chris has worked incredibly hard over the past decade to build our foundation. I look forward to seeing what we accomplish over the next decade and beyond.”
Prior to joining our team, Adam worked in the homebuilding industry for 6 years at ONeil Interactive, an award-winning national full service agency. In 2019 he received recognition as a Professional Builders Magazine 40 Under 40 recipient and also received the Home Builders Care Foundation “Tom Sawyer Award” for community service. Adam was also a 2018 National Association of Home Builders Associate Member “One to Watch” Nominee and in 2017 received the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults “Game Changer” Award. He’s #InItToDoGood and his track record proves it.
“Adam was the first person that I consulted with over two years ago when launching BioBuzz.io so he has really been part of our journey from the beginning. It’s both a professional and personal honor to have him on the team to lead our marketing and BD efforts at this important stage of the company,” stated Workforce Genetics CEO, Chris Frew. “Not only is Adam incredibly talented, but his passion for making an authentic impact on his clients, his relationships and the community is a quality that very few people have and one that I am proud will be reflected in our brand with him leading it.”
A lifelong learner, Adam is currently working on his Organizational Leadership Specialization from Northwestern University. Adam attended the University of Maryland where he studied psychology and kinesiology. He was also an active member of Delta Tau Delta leading the chapter’s philanthropic efforts. A father to two boys, Adam and his wife Emily enjoy spending time as a family in the great outdoors with a goal of visiting every National Park in the country.
