CRB’s latest venture in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, isn’t just a new office, it’s a meticulously crafted environment that embodies a fusion of innovation, functionality, and homage to local history while fostering inclusion and collaboration. It’s a testament to CRB’s commitment to pushing boundaries, embracing change, and creating spaces where great ideas flourish.
I had the pleasure of touring the space one dreary day, and it immediately brightened my day.
Strategic Connectivity Driving Collaborative Excellence
Stepping off the elevator I felt like I was entering an oasis. Warmth and brightness exuded from every corner, with abundant natural light flooding the lobby. Despite the immediate “wow factor,” there was a cool casualness to the office, making you feel like it is both welcoming you to eagerly explore and feel comfortable in the relaxed atmosphere.
The walls are adorned with project visualizations, inviting you to feel a part of the conversation about projects throughout an open, flexible layout with strategically placed meeting rooms, collaborative spaces, and adaptable workstations.
What sets this space apart is its hybrid-friendly infrastructure, offering the option to reserve workstations for in-office work and ensuring a smooth transition between remote and on-site operations.
But this office isn’t just about functionality; it’s a nod to Conshohocken’s rich heritage. From carpet patterns reminiscent of textile factory designs to exposed ceilings and textured tiles, the space pays tribute to the area’s industrial past. The deliberate use of plywood and exposed ceilings creates an ambiance akin to a “Working Lab,” echoing many of the life sciences facilities CRB has brought to life from its Northeast operations in Philadelphia.
One of the office’s standout features is the dynamic display of CRB’s core values—Responsibility, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Technical Excellence, Collaboration, and Fun—woven into captivating artworks that adorn the walls, serving as constant reminders of the company’s ethos.
Moreover, the office’s state-of-the-art Interiors Library is a haven for CRB’s architects and interior designers. Abundant natural light, ample storage for materials, and flexible pin-up boards facilitate brainstorming sessions and design charrettes, fostering creativity and innovation. The space also comes with a turnable lighting feature that mimics the ambiance found in various client facilities such as labs and offices, allowing the CRB team to better visualize how materials and palettes will appear in these spaces.
Positioned in the Heart of Biopharma Innovation
Beyond the office walls, Conshohocken’s allure adds an extra dimension to this workspace. CRB’s relocation to the city signifies more than just a geographical move —it’s a strategic step towards fostering collaboration, innovation, and proximity to key industry players.
CRB’s relocation to the Seven Tower Bridge building signifies a strategic shift closer to the epicenter of biopharma advancements. With a spacious 26,670-square-foot office space, CRB now finds itself near a myriad of clients within one of the world’s most critical biopharma markets. Closer to public transportation and major highways, CRB employees and clients can easily access the office whether they are located in or out of the city.
The proximity to Philadelphia and its vibrant suburban surroundings make it an ideal hub for Life Sciences networking events. Accessible and well-connected, it’s a gateway to opportunities and collaborations that amplify CRB’s presence and impact in the region.
The new office space stands as a testament to CRB’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions while nurturing an environment where excellence thrives.
