Kite Pharma

A business division of Gilead Sciences, Kite Pharma is developing innovative cancer immunotherapies. The company is focused on chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) and T cell receptor (TCR) engineered cell therapies designed to empower the immune system’s ability to recognize and kill tumors. Sr. Director, Head of Quality Control

The senior director, head of quality control will be responsible for leading a commercial manufacturing site Quality Control organization, including analytical, microbial, technical services and sample management groups and activities for cell therapy products. The position also calls for the director to advance technology integration in the labs and methods to cultivate COGM reduction. A qualified candidate will possess an advanced scientific degree, such as an MD, PhD or PharmD, and 12+ years’ experience in Quality Control Biopharmaceuticals or a master’s degree and 12+ years’ experience in Quality Control Biopharmaceuticals.

Quality Control Analytical, Specialist II

The specialist works closely with the site’s QC Analytical Operations, Kite’s cross-site QC Technical Services network, and Technical Innovation teams to support commercial operations in CAR-T technology. Qualifications for this position require a knowledge of GMP, SOPs and quality control processes, a master’s degree with 2+ years’ experience in a FDA regulated laboratory or a bachelor’s degree with more than four years’ experience in an FDA regulated laboratory.

AstraZeneca

U.K.-based AstraZeneca, a global pharmaceutical company, has a significant presence in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The company is focused on the development of drugs for the treatment of multiple disease indications, including oncology, immunology, respiratory disease, rare diseases, cardiovascular disease, renal disease and metabolic disease. Regulatory Affairs Manager

The Regulatory Affairs Manager is a regulatory specialist with project management capabilities who is responsible for leading the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of assigned deliverables. The regulatory affairs manager provides regulatory expertise and guidance on procedural and documentation requirements to GRET, GRST and cross-functional teams working flexibly within and across regions to ensure the delivery of business objectives. The position requires a relevant BS/BA degree in science or a related field with one to three years of regulatory experience within the biopharmaceutical industry.

ORD HR Transformation Lead

AstraZeneca is seeking a human resources professional for its oncology research & development team. The individual in this role will track project plans and coordinate deliverables that are related to ORD transformation projects in multiple geographies. Additionally, the job candidate will lead change and impact assessment on multiple projects. Qualifications for this role include a bachelor’s degree, previous human resources experience and familiarity with collective consultation and restructuring principles.

US Pharmocopeia

Associate Laboratory Technician

The Associate Laboratory Technician will be responsible for a variety of production activities involving both automated and hands-on packaging methods in the RSP production environment. The individual in this role will be responsible for accurate and timely production of USP Reference Standards according to USP best practices. Qualifications for this role include a bachelor’s degree in a physical science. Two years of work experience in a related field may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree in a physical science.

Director, Product Management

This director’s role will define and oversee delivery of the strategy and roadmap for the materials portfolio to achieve USP’s public health mission and financial objectives. The individual hired for this position will collaborate across the organization including Operations, Science, Regional teams, IT, Strategy, Analytics, the Executive Team, and others to further USP’s mission. Qualifications for this position include a bachelor’s degree in marketing, as well as a minimum of one year in Product management for a B2B company involved in healthcare, chemicals, or pharmaceuticals.

Director, Regulatory Affairs

The director of regulatory affairs is accountable for the direct management and guidance regarding the organization’s cGMP compliance and regulatory affairs for biologics, sterile injectables, cell and gene therapy, inhalation manufacturing and analytical services. Additionally, the director will work with clients and internal cross-functional teams to provide regulatory strategy and provide oversight of regulatory staff involved in client and internal regulatory projects. Qualifications for this role include a bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or a related field. The role also seeks a candidate with seven to 10 years of experience in regulatory affairs or related field.

Account Executive, Wellness

Catalent’s account executive, wellness will be responsible for growing Catalent’s Consumer Healthcare business in its assigned region within the United States and Canada. Strategically developing and executing a growth-centric account plan, with a strong understanding of market demand and fluctuations and the ability to provide customers with solutions. Qualifications for this role include a BS or BA, as well as a minimum of three years in a business development role, with relevant experience in the outsourcing market (CMO, CRO, CSO) preferably in the VMS space.

Frederick National Laboratory

The Frederick National Laboratory is a federally-funded research and development center sponsored by the National Cancer Institute and operated by Leidos Biomedical Research. Research Associate I, Single Cell Analysis Facility

The research associate will join the lab’s single cell analysis facility to provide support for state-of-the-art single cell sequencing technologies to basic and translational cancer research. Duties include general upkeep of the lab, including archiving samples, ordering, and managing stock levels, as well as performing single cell captures, library preparation, quality control and sequencing. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of experience performing cell and molecular biology experiments.

Research Associate II, Single Cell Analysis Facility

The candidate for this research associate position will assist with spatial transcriptomics experiments on 10X Visium platform, library preparation, quality control and sequencing. The job candidate will also implement support for advanced spatial transcriptomics/single cell methods and help with experimental design, sample preparation and project troubleshooting. Qualifications for this position include a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of five years of experience performing cell and molecular biology experiments and familiarity with next generation sequencing methods.
