Martha Delaney joins Diamond Age Data Science as the Head of Business Development. Delaney previously served as Sr. Manager of Business Development for a regional high-purity water system provider. In her previous role, she led teams in water system design and installation for healthcare, fostering strategic partnerships to drive company sales growth.
Delaney emphasizes the importance of client relationships, stating, “Client relationships are the driving force behind every successful business. Through collaboration and communication, we are better able to understand our customer which allows us to be better equipped to meet their specific needs.”
In her new role, Delaney leverages her vast consulting and business experience. She creates strategies for new businesses while fostering enduring customer relationships. Collaborating closely with clients, she guides Diamond Age Data Science consultants in tailoring bioinformatic solutions to align with their specific project objectives, facilitating success in research and development endeavors.
About Martha Delaney
Delaney earned her Bachelors from High Point University. Delaney first started her career in commercial construction in Washington, DC. She switched between IT and construction roles, believing strongly in the synergy between technology and construction. In recent years, she witnessed notable advancements in technology integration within the construction field. Emphasizing the value of collaboration, she leveraged technology to facilitate virtual meetings and online collaborations, expediting project progress. Delaney also contributed to the IT industry, collaborating with major players like Microsoft and Oracle to develop technology education offered in top-tier universities. Beyond her professional endeavors, Martha has been an active member of the ISPE organization, serving on the MAST Planning Committee for several years.
