Bre Cameron Returns to Amgen as Veteran Program Manager

Bre Cameron has rejoined Amgen as the Veteran Program Manager, driven by her deep passion for supporting veterans. She firmly believes that “Employing veterans is not only the right thing to do, it is an investment in leadership, integrity, resilience, and so many other valuable attributes. Employing veterans makes a company stronger.”

Drawing from her own military background and professional expertise, Bre seamlessly integrates her recruitment and project management skills. She leverages her personal experiences of transitioning from the military to provide coaching, guidance, and advocacy for fellow veterans and military spouses aspiring to enter the biotech industry.

About Bre Cameron

Bre Cameron is a Navy veteran, who served from 2001 – 2006 in San Diego. She started her career in Talent Acquisition in 2011 working as a recruiter for various industries and clients. Bre joined Amgen as a contractor in 2017 as the Veteran Employment Program Manager and helped to build and manage their recruitment programs for veterans. In 2022 & 2023, she worked for Kite Pharma to build and lead their Veteran Hiring Program. As of March 2024, Bre has returned to Amgen to reprise her role as the Veteran Program manager. She has a Bachelor of Liberal Studies from Bowling Green State University and a Masters of Engaged Humanities & Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute.  A native of Northwest Ohio, Bre currently resides in Savannah, GA, and in her spare time enjoys traveling overseas, yoga, kayaking, making art and spending time at the beach on Tybee Island with her family and friends.
