BioAnalysis expands its business development and industry engagement efforts with the addition of Bryan Tsao, PhD, to support the company’s continued growth across cell and gene therapy, biologics, and emerging therapeutic modalities.

BioAnalysis, LLC, a Philadelphia-based collaborative research organization (CRO), has hired Bryan Tsao, PhD, as Director of Business Development. The company specializes in analytical testing, biophysics, mass spectrometry, method development, and cGMP-compliant laboratory services supporting gene therapy, biologics, monoclonal antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), nanoparticles, and related biopharmaceutical programs.

In his new role, Tsao will support BioAnalysis’ business development strategy, client engagement efforts, and industry partnerships across the life sciences ecosystem. He will work closely with biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations developing cell and gene therapies (CGT), biologics, and antibody-conjugates while helping connect clients with testing and development solutions that support regulatory readiness, product quality, and commercialization efforts.

Tsao joins BioAnalysis following four years with The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia, where he served on the organization’s Economic Competitiveness team supporting initiatives tied to regional business attraction, workforce development, and life sciences ecosystem growth. During his time with the Chamber, he helped strengthen relationships across Greater Philadelphia’s expanding biotech community while supporting initiatives focused on regional competitiveness and innovation economy development.

Tsao brings a combination of scientific expertise, ecosystem development experience, and relationship-driven business strategy to his new role at BioAnalysis. His background includes collaboration across industry, academia, workforce development organizations, and regional economic development initiatives focused on strengthening the life sciences sector.

As Director of Business Development, Tsao will help strengthen BioAnalysis’ industry relationships and expand engagement with companies advancing next-generation therapies and biologic products.
