The Institute for In Vitro Sciences (IIVS) has appointed Brenda Braden, SHRM-CP, as Manager, Human Resources. In this role, Braden will partner with senior leadership to develop and execute people-focused strategies that strengthen workforce capabilities and support the Institute’s immediate and long-term goals.
About Brenda Braden
Braden joins IIVS from Blue Zebra Consulting, LLC, the strategic HR advisory firm she founded to help organizations align people strategy with business goals, strengthen compliance, and improve employee relations. She previously served as Human Resources Executive at the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland.
Braden brings more than 15 years of HR experience, with deep roots in recruiting and talent acquisition for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries, including more than seven years at Supernus Pharmaceuticals, where she rose from Senior Recruiting Specialist to Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition.
Braden earned an associate degree in business administration from Frederick Community College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in business administration at the University of Phoenix.

IIVS is a non-profit research and testing laboratory in Gaithersburg, Maryland, dedicated to advancing in vitro (non-animal) methods worldwide. Founded in 1997, the Institute provides testing services for industries including cosmetics, household products, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices, alongside education and outreach programs that promote the use and acceptance of non-animal testing.
