Orchestra Life Sciences has named Charles Conroy, RPh, MBA, as Chief Operating Officer. Conroy brings 25+ years of executive leadership across the radiopharmaceutical, biotech, and pharmaceutical sectors to the technical consultancy, which relocated its global headquarters from Montreal to Philadelphia’s Navy Yard in October 2025, his appointment comes as Orchestra continues to expand its global team and capabilities across radiopharmaceuticals, cell and gene therapy, biologics, and other complex biopharmaceutical programs.

As COO, Conroy will focus on technical strategy, capital investment, and commercialization, helping Orchestra’s clients evaluate facility investments, operating models, financing considerations, and manufacturing strategies as they build out radiopharmaceutical and cell and gene therapy operations.

Conroy founded and served as CEO of Nucleus RadioPharma, where he led a $72 million Series A financing and developed multi-site manufacturing infrastructure supporting clinical and commercial readiness. Previously, as President and CEO of ARTMS Products — a radioisotope production company later acquired by Telix Pharmaceuticals — Conroy led the strategic repositioning and commercialization of the company, growing its enterprise value from $3 million to $82 million. Earlier in his career, he directed a 51-site radiopharmacy operation with more than 800 employees at Jubilant Pharma, executing a $50 million capital investment plan and negotiating supplier agreements that generated $15 million in annual savings.
Conroy also spent two years as Chief Operating Officer of PharmBlue LLC, a nationwide specialty pharmacy, and three years as Senior Director of Pharmacy Operations at Express Scripts, and received the company’s Chairman’s Award for his contributions.
Conroy holds an MBA in Strategy and Operations from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Purdue University.
