People on the Move: Helga Margrethe Salling Named Chief Growth Officer of CRB

CRB has named Helga Margrethe Salling as Chief Growth Officer. “Our strategic plan calls for disciplined growth and a more integrated approach to market engagement,” said CRB President and CEO Vahid Ownjazayeri. “Helga understands how our clients make investment decisions, build partnerships and bring complex projects forward. Her leadership will help us strengthen those relationships and connect our growth strategy more closely to the needs of the market.”

About Helga Margrethe Salling

Salling brings more than 25 years of experience in business development, market strategy, and client growth across the life sciences sector to the role. “Companies today across all markets are under real pressure to move faster, use capital more efficiently, and manage increasing complexity across their portfolios. That’s changing how they choose partners and execute projects,” Salling said. “CRB’s project teams have built a strong foundation in integrated services, technical delivery, and client relationships. I’m excited to help connect that strength to a growth strategy that reflects how clients are making decisions today.”

Salling joins CRB from Jacobs, where she served as Senior Vice President of Global Growth & Strategy, Life Sciences, leading global sales and business development across established and emerging accounts. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles with IPS, DPS Group, Labflex, and Novo Nordisk Engineering, spanning strategic consulting, account management, sales operations, and international business growth.

About CRB

CRB is an engineering, architecture, construction, and consulting firm that partners with the life sciences and food & beverage industries to design and build the facilities behind life-enhancing therapies, critical medicines, and essential everyday products. By bringing these disciplines together under one roof, the firm is able to tackle complex technical challenges and shape solutions around each client’s specific needs.

Over four decades in business, CRB has built a reputation for technical depth, a collaborative approach to project delivery, and a steady focus on helping clients reach their goals. That track record, the company says, comes down to its people — teams across North America and Europe who pair strong technical know-how with a partnership mindset, helping clients turn early-stage ideas into finished, functioning facilities.

Accountability and shared success sit at the center of how CRB operates, whether it’s serving a client or supporting its own employees’ growth. The firm positions itself as a destination both for organizations seeking a dependable project partner and for professionals looking to build a career surrounded by people invested in turning ambitious ideas into reality.
