Citius Oncology, Inc., an oncology-focused biopharmaceutical company and majority-owned subsidiary of Citius Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: CTXR), has appointed Jonathan Peri, Ph.D., J.D., as an additional independent director on its Board of Directors, effective August 10, 2026. The appointment, approved unanimously, expands the board to nine members.
About Jonathan Peri
Peri currently serves as the ninth President of Manor College in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, a role he has held since November 2015. A Philadelphia Business Journal Most Admired CEO, he has more than doubled the college’s net assets during his tenure while expanding its academic programs and student support initiatives, and Manor was recently recognized by the U.S. Department of Education’s Postsecondary Success Recognition Program for its outcomes in equitable access and student success.
Citius Oncology Chairman and CEO Leonard Mazur said Peri’s experience leading complex institutions, along with his disciplined and mission-focused approach to governance, will strengthen the board as the company builds on the commercial launch of LYMPHIR and scales the organization.
Before Manor College, Peri spent more than nine years as Vice President and General Counsel of Neumann University, and earlier served as an Assistant District Attorney and spokesperson for the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office and as an associate at Saul Ewing LLP. He brings extensive board and governance experience to the role, including as an elected Commissioner of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), a member of the AICUP Board, and, from 2021 to 2024, Lead Advisory Board Director of First State Bank in Gainesville, Texas. Governor Tom Wolf previously appointed him Chairman of Pennsylvania’s Council of Higher Education, and he may be the only person in Pennsylvania to have concurrently served on six state boards and committees related to education.
Peri reflected on the appointment: “Citius Oncology is addressing a serious and underserved need in cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, and I look forward to contributing to the Board’s strategic oversight.”
Peri holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University, a J.D. from Widener University Schools of Law, and a B.A. in Theology from Villanova University. He also completed a Management & Leadership in Education program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Citius Oncology, Inc. is a platform to develop and commercialize novel targeted oncology therapies. In December 2025, Citius Oncology launched LYMPHIR, approved by the FDA for the treatment of adults with relapsed or refractory Stage I–III cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) who had at least one prior systemic therapy. Management estimates the initial CTCL market for LYMPHIR currently exceeds $400 million and is underserved by existing therapies, with intellectual property protections spanning orphan drug designation, complex technology, trade secrets, and pending patents for immuno-oncology use as a combination therapy with checkpoint inhibitors.
