People on the Move: Sean M. Salmon Joins Teleflex Board of Directors

Teleflex Incorporated has appointed Sean M. Salmon to its Board of Directors, effective September 8, 2026, where he will also serve on the Growth and Operating Committee. “Sean is an industry veteran and proven operator with a strong record of driving growth and profitability across large, complex medical technology businesses,” said Andrew A. Krakauer, Chairman of the Teleflex Board. “His deep expertise in capital allocation, portfolio strategy and operational execution will complement the existing capabilities of the Board and be particularly valuable as Teleflex advances its strategic priorities.We look forward to benefiting from his perspective as we continue to drive durable performance and value for shareholders.” 

About Sean M. Salmon

Salmon brings more than 20 years of medical technology leadership to the role. He spent his career at Medtronic, most recently as Executive Vice President and President of its Cardiovascular Portfolio, where he was instrumental in developing the growth strategy for a business that generated approximately $12.5 billion in fiscal 2025 revenue. He previously served as Executive Vice President and Group President of Medtronic’s Diabetes business from, President of its Coronary and Structural Heart business units, President of its Coronary and Renal Denervation business units and General Manager of its Coronary and Peripheral business units.

Since leaving Medtronic in 2025, Salmon has served as owner of Zamboni Holdings, LLC, providing consulting and advisory services, and as an independent director of Adagio Medical Holdings, a medical device company developing catheter-based cryoablation technology for treating ventricular arrhythmias.

Salmon holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology from Boston University.
