That’s meant to replace what has traditionally been a fragmented, time-intensive process: sponsors identifying and vetting appropriate early feasibility sites largely through manual outreach and scattered information sources. A Shared Priority for Regulatory Science
The tool extends MDIC’s ongoing push to strengthen how Early Feasibility Studies are run in the U.S., pairing MDIC’s convening role and EFS expertise with Veranex’s hands-on device development and clinical research experience. Both organizations frame the partnership as addressing a practical bottleneck that has historically slowed early clinical work, with the goal of building infrastructure that makes first-in-human device studies easier to get off the ground domestically.
