Creating a healthy workforce is imperative for a life sciences ecosystem. Across North Carolina there are multiple programs aimed at future STEM careers. The community college system, including a new program at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, supports BioWorks Certificate-awarding programs. N.C. State University also secured funding to promote STEM among the state’s Hispanic community.
