Jennifer Chiang, SHRM-SCP was appointed to the role of Head of Global People Strategy Realization for MilliporeSigma.
She was previously the Head of People Strategy Execution, US where she championed recruiting, employee engagement, and employee development initiatives at the Rockville, MD site for over 800 employees.
In her new role, Chiang will oversee the people strategy and experience of MilliporeSigma’s Contract Testing Services employees in the US, UK, and APAC sites. This includes employee engagement, community & local partnerships, Diversity Equity & Inclusion, and leadership development initiatives.

About Jennifer Chiang
Chiang graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with an Elementary Education degree. While fully intending to become an elementary school teacher, she was recruited by the IRS after her internship to use her degree to design, deliver, and evaluate different modes of training online.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she reevaluated her career plans like many others did during this time period. Because of personal health reasons, she realized that she wanted to contribute to the health of others and to drug safety testing; and coincidentally, a role at MilliporeSigma opened that combined this passion and experience with people strategy.
After serving over a decade there, she worked in various departments like employee engagement, digitalization & automation, and communications, in a variety of roles – HR specialist, analyst, executive assistant, and communications director.
