Following Bora Pharmaceuticals‘ acquisition of Emergent, Nick Droste has transitioned into the role of Operational Excellence Program Manager. In his new position, Nick leverages Lean Six Sigma and program management methodologies to drive process improvements, minimize downtime, reduce performance-related deviations, and support workforce development through Lean Six Sigma and PMP training initiatives. Nick is also an active BioBuzz Ambassador, fostering connections and promoting growth within the life sciences community here at BioBuzz.
About Nick Droste
Nick Droste brings two decades of leadership experience from his distinguished career in the United States Army, where he served as a Korean and Persian language analyst. He led military intelligence teams across the globe, including combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. These experiences underscored the critical importance of medical countermeasures and life-saving tools provided by the life sciences industry.
Droste earned a BS in Psychology and an MS in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Baltimore.
A strong advocate for veterans, Droste dedicates his free time to volunteering with various veteran service organizations, most notably as Vice President of Reveille Grounds, a military community hub providing resources and support to Maryland veterans and their families. He is also a small business owner and the founder of Villainous Biscuits, a Baltimore-based food service company. Droste is passionate about assisting service members with the challenges of military transition and helping organizations recognize the value of veteran outreach and support.
