CRB appoints Michael Konstantopoulos as Maryland Office Leader, expanding his leadership role within the firm’s Mid-Atlantic operations.
CRB, a global design, engineering, construction, and consulting firm specializing in life sciences and advanced technology facilities, has named Michael Konstantopoulos as its Maryland Office Leader. In this role, Konstantopoulos will guide the firm’s Maryland-based operations, building on its established presence supporting biopharma and advanced manufacturing clients across the region.
Konstantopoulos has been with CRB for nearly six years, most recently serving as Director, Maryland Design Leader. During his tenure, he has played a key role in leading project delivery and shaping design strategy for complex life sciences infrastructure projects. His progression from Project Manager to regional leadership reflects both his technical expertise and his expanding leadership responsibilities within the organization.
Expanding Leadership in a Critical Biohub
As Maryland Office Leader, Konstantopoulos will focus on driving project execution, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the continued growth of CRB’s footprint in the BioHealth Capital Region. His experience managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering large-scale projects positions him to lead the office through its next phase of growth.

Background and Experience
Konstantopoulos brings 20 years of experience across engineering, design, and project leadership, with a career rooted in delivering complex infrastructure and life sciences projects. At CRB, he has advanced through multiple roles, including Project Manager and Director, Maryland Design Leader, where he led multidisciplinary teams and supported the successful execution of complex client programs.
Prior to joining CRB, he served as a Project Manager at Parsons Corporation and spent over eight years as an Electrical Engineer at Advanced Consulting Engineering, where he developed deep technical expertise in electrical systems design and project delivery.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University and is a licensed Professional Engineer (Electrical) and LEED Accredited Professional.
