ABERDEEN, Md. – The Aberdeen Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) has demonstrated its commitment to higher education by establishing a new scholarship supporting STEM students.
AFCEA’s generous donation of $5,000 will provide financial assistance to students from Cecil County and Harford County who are enrolled in the Bioproduction program at Cecil College. This scholarship will be distributed through the Cecil College Foundation.
Scholarship recipients and college representatives will be invited to attend the AFCEA’s annual scholarship dinner in the spring at Water’s Edge Restaurant. AFCEA Aberdeen Chapter provides scholarship funding to students in Harford and Cecil counties who obtain a higher education certificate or degree in a STEM-related curriculum.
