International Gene & Cell Therapy Company Opens US Operation in Frederick, MD
Forecyte Bio, a leading China-based CDMO biotech company, recently celebrated the grand opening of its new facility in Frederick County, Maryland. The 17,000 square foot location is dedicated to contract development and manufacturing for the rapidly growing Cell and Gene Therapy industry. The facility aims to provide a “one-stop” holistic service package to help accelerate clients’ projects from early concept to commercial manufacturing.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Forecyte Bio CEO Yingke shared the company’s journey from the idea stage to its fast-track process. He acknowledged the key partnerships that have supported the business and continue to play a significant role in the company’s growth. Bill Robertson, President of Valogic and the building developer, also expressed his excitement and gratitude to the team that worked tirelessly to deliver this state-of-the-art space to Forecyte Bio.
Forecyte Bio’s new location at 7495 New Horizon Way in Frederick, MD was part of a redevelopment and conversion of an existing office building. After a comprehensive renovation, the building now houses Forecyte Bio and Zalgen Labs. Developers Bill Robertson and Jeff Wells used their expertise in wet and clean labs to convert the space, making it the perfect home for small to medium-sized biotech companies.
