Kyle Eichelmann has been appointed as the new Senior Business Development Manager at ARCHIMED, a leading global private equity firm exclusively focused on healthcare industries. ARCHIMED’s international team combines investment, medical, scientific, and operational expertise, acting as a strategic and financial partner to healthcare enterprises in Europe and North America. Their mission is to build bigger and better healthcare businesses, ultimately delivering improved health outcomes and helping people worldwide. Kyle’s work will help to accelerate the development of cell and gene therapies to bring new and better treatments to patients faster while humanizing the customer experience amidst technological shifts. 

About Kyle Eichelmann

Kyle Eichelmann attended Lehigh University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology, driven by a deep interest in healthcare and helping others. Initially considering medical school, Kyle opted to enter the workforce, embarking on a career in the pharmaceutical industry.

Kyle’s journey began in pharmaceutical sales, where he was contracted with Shire Pharmaceuticals and helped launch an ADHD medication. His career later expanded to roles at Bioquell, focusing on life sciences, and at Valeant Pharmaceuticals, furthering his expertise in the pharmaceutical industry.

Seeking broader exposure, Kyle joined Sentinel Process Systems, where he gained significant insights into the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. In 2016, Kyle relocated to Maryland to join Lonza, where he became part of the bioscience team.

Most recently, Kyle joined Clean Cells through ARCHIMED, where he plays a pivotal role in driving growth in the US market, focusing on contract testing, cell banking, and storage. As the first US-based hire, Kyle is tasked with driving R&D and GMP cell banking and testing efforts.

Clean Cells is a GMP-licensed Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization providing R&D, production and quality control testing services to the biopharmaceutical industry.

The site located in Western France holds an innovative process development platform, BSL2 and BSL3 GMP manufacturing laboratories, and analytical areas to develop bespoke assays and perform GMP testing.

Clean Cells is part of the Clean Biologics group and benefits from the additional experience of sister company Naobios, a CDMO with considerable experience in the development and manufacture of virus-based products.
