Founded in Gaithersburg, Maryland by a pioneer in the gene therapy field with a veteran leadership team, the company helps design and manufacture high-quality pre-clinical and GMP lentiviral vectors at a speed, price, and scale that provides extraordinary value to its clients.
In her role at Vector BioMed helping to develop and execute the company’s sales and BD strategies and supporting their target customer segments to support the company’s growth. With a background in cell therapy and supporting both research and development customers, Faulkner brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and relationships to help achieve success and expand the customer portfolio.
Faulkner has diverse work experience in the field of sales and business development and was previously a Business Development Manager at bit.bio and had a successful career at MilliporeSigma from 2007 to 2021 as a Senior Research Sales Account Manager. Faulkner’s background includes responsibility for developing various academic, hospital, government, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and CRO markets and supporting accounts with Johns Hopkins University, University of Maryland Baltimore Medical Campus, Georgetown University/Hospital, FDA, USDA, and US Army; among others. Faulkner completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Metabolic Dietetics from the University of Maryland between 1997 and 2001 and got her first start in the industry at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Sales Manager.
