Robyn Shaw has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer at Noble Life Sciences (NLS). With over 20 years of experience in the contract research industry, Shaw brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role. Her extensive background in research toxicology, immunology, and infectious diseases, coupled with her experience in preclinical studies, positions her to lead NLS to new heights.
About Robyn Shaw
Robyn Shaw holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Washington College and a master’s degree in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University. She began her career at Spring Valley Laboratories (SVL) as a Study Director, where she managed both GLP and non-GLP studies. Following SVL’s acquisition by NLS, Shaw continued to excel, taking on roles that included serving on the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), where she currently chairs the committee.
In her previous role as Director of Preclinical Services at SVL, Shaw gained significant experience in overseeing preclinical studies in various toxicology environments. Now, as Chief Operating Officer at NLS, she is responsible for the overall facility operations, including scheduling research procedures, managing vivarium facility staff, and identifying areas for quality and operational improvements.
Shaw has been with NLS since 2014, and she appreciates the collaborative environment and the opportunity to work on diverse projects, such as GLP vaccine toxicology studies. She values the challenges and rewards of providing reliable services to clients and presenting their studies to the FDA.
