Brandi Burgess has been appointed as the Director of Sales for CIC Labs and Innovation Campus in Philadelphia. With a strong focus on expanding CIC’s footprint within the Philly ecosystem, particularly in the life sciences sector, Brandi is eager to contribute to the community’s vibrant growth. Joining a dynamic team, she has already begun making significant strides in her ambitious first year. Brandi draws daily inspiration from the rapidly growing companies at CIC, engaging with clients who are celebrated innovators and leaders. She takes pride in being part of a community where the halls are filled with businesses working toward life-affirming developments.

Brandi Burgess joins the CIC team as an experienced storyteller, strategic leader, and partnership cultivator. She is a fundraising and growth expert with 14 years of nonprofit experience, spanning from hyperlocal start-ups to globally connected institutions. Brandi provides eloquent and creative leadership and has held diverse roles spanning across advancement, operations, and DEI implementation, always with high-volume portfolio and project management.
Brandi hails from Birmingham, AL. She has worked in arts and culture nonprofits across the globe, and is thrilled to have called Philly home for the past decade. Brandi lives in a South Philadelphia fixer-upper with her spouse and two cats. She enjoys the Philly food and nightlife scene, and once in a blue moon can be found performing on a local stage.
