Novo Nordisk
With three facilities spread across Research Triangle Park, Novo Nordisk is hiring for multiple positions across the region. Based in Denmark, Novo Nordisk is developing therapeutics for diabetes and other serious chronic diseases, including obesity and rare blood and endocrine disorders. The role of Maintenance Technician II will be to “improve systems & equipment reliability on assigned process, reduce system/equipment downtime on assigned process & support operation of assigned process.” The person in this position will also be asked to suggest practical changes or improvements to equipment & department work practices. The job requires a minimum of five years’ experience in a manufacturing industry, a minimum of three years of regulated industry & solid dose manufacturing experience, as well as demonstrated experience in executing equipment troubleshooting, preventative and predictive maintenance.
Project Quality Validation Lead – Site Capacity
The role of Validation Lead (Project Quality) for IFP expansion projects calls for the employee to provide comprehensive validation subject matter expertise regarding equipment, facility, cleaning, sterilization, product and process validation. Additionally, the role calls for a detailed knowledge of the Novo Nordisk validation procedures/validation manual & directs project areas in developing compliant validation strategies. The job requires a BA/BS degree in pharmaceutical, engineering, or other technical science field or equivalent combination of education & experience.

Director of Business Development
The Director of Business Development will be tasked with “securing and retaining business through professional, consultative, proactive sales activities directed at decision-makers and decision influencers at existing and new clinical sponsors.” The director will also gain awareness of competitor activities and identify and respond to customer needs in support of potential opportunities. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business management with 10 years of related experience, including three years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry. The candidate will also demonstrate a proven track record.
The CTE will collaborate with research staff and other stakeholders to drive trial recruitment and to support study specific training needs. The CTE acts as a strategic partner to both external and internal stakeholders to optimize the site experience and performance. Job qualifications include a BA/BS in health sciences or a related field, or equivalent academic professional qualifications. The position typically requires one or two years of prior experience.
FujiFilm Diosynth Technologies
FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, a subsidiary of FUJIFILM Corporation, is a contract development and manufacturing organization. The QA Operations Specialist III for DSM will be responsible for the “quality oversight of drug substance manufacturing processes through to operational readiness, as well as provide oversight of validation program execution for these processes.” The role will also provide QA oversight and support of project deliverables in accordance with governing processes, and procedures for the DSM program. Requirements include education and experience appropriate to a specialist level role in Validation, cGMP manufacturing operations and/or Quality oversight, in an FDA regulated facility.

The Associate Scientist may also be required to work on method development/method validation projects. A bachelor’s degree and five years of related experience, or master’s degree with three years of related experience is required.

This position will be tasked with performing specification, development, quality validation and regulatory submission compliance for PPD developed CDISC SDTM and CDISC eCRT (Define.xml) programming deliverables, using Windows SAS Grid. Qualifications include a MS/MA degree in in computer science, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics or related field and more than four years of experience.
