Joshua Taylor appointed as Business Development Manager at BioIVT

BioIVT is excited to announce that Joshua Taylor has been appointed as Business Development Manager. In this new role, Joshua will represent the company’s diverse biospecimen portfolio, which includes Normal Human and Animal tissues and biofluids, clinical Disease State donor material, immune cell products supporting Cell and Gene Therapy research, and ADME-Tox products and services.
Joshua brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He previously worked with BioIVT as a Product Manager handling their Custom Products business and most recently held a Technical Sales Specialist role supporting the company’s Cell and Gene Therapy portfolio. With this new position, he’s excited to hit the ground running, leveraging his extensive knowledge of BioIVT’s product portfolio to better support clients and ensure that individual project needs are met efficiently and effectively.

About Joshua
Joshua has over 15 years of experience supporting the biotech and pharma industries, focused on maintaining client relationships, developing company portfolios, and supporting ongoing project needs.
His journey in the Life Sciences industry began after graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in Animal and Avian Sciences. Initial roles focused primarily on cell culture production, giving him an opportunity to work with a diverse array of fungal, bacterial, and mammalian cell systems.
Utilizing his cell culture experience to bridge the gap between research and practical application, Josh eventually joined the BioIVT team and transitioned into a role focused primarily on biospecimens and tissue culture. During this time he also made the decision to continue his education, eventually completing both a Masters in Biotechnology and a Masters in Business Administration.
This diverse experience, both practical and educational, prompted Joshua to shift from the laboratory to a client-facing Business Development role. This transition allowed him to leverage his production experience to better understand and address client needs, providing firsthand knowledge of the various pain points and tribulations one might experience in a lab setting.
