Raven Hawkins, from SmithGroup, has been appointed as the Chapter Manager for the ISPE Chesapeake Bay Area, a global industry leader in pharmaceutical knowledge. In her new role, she will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing the chapter’s impact in the Life Sciences industry by ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs and events. Hawkins is committed to simplifying the membership process, providing valuable resources, and promoting diversity and inclusion within the community.
Hawkins emphasized the broader purpose of her work, “Working in business development is more than just building relationships and generating revenue; it is also about being able to have an impact on the communities and sectors that we work within.”
The ISPE Chesapeake Bay Area Chapter President, Lynne Cooper, also expressed confidence in Hawkin’s leadership, stating, “Raven’s experience and passions align with the Chapter’s desires to continue to strengthen and fortify our community. The addition of a part-time Chapter Manager allows for our Chapter to have a point of contact for all things associated with the Chapter year over year. It allows each of the elected Officers the opportunity to fulfill their obligations while creating a more streamlined experience for members and the community.”
